While working for a business magazine I was tasked with pitching Christmas themed content. My research led me to the amusing phenomenon of Santa Schools - institutions where older individuals study to be better Santas. As I dug deeper into the topic, I found that one of the Santa Schools offered a class aboard a Princess cruise ship.

Five months later I was on a flight to Alaska. I shot the film with no additional crew, almost entirely immersed in the social sphere of professional Santas.
