Ambitious Chilli Embrace

In response to a randomly generated prompt I set out to make a film each month for the first three months of 2018. I had no preconceptions or intentions aside from creating a series of films that each could be construed as an Ambitious Chilli Embrace. The resulting films are the founding documents of a genre I’d like to call ‘Autobiofictional Journalism.’ They take the details of my life, remix them, and add a dash of outright mythologizing. I think of them as aestheticized expressions of failure.
